We Are Open for Patient Care

The state of Texas, city of Dallas, Collin County, and the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners are allowing some dental offices to remain open. We are following CDC news and guidelines, we are taking everyone’s temperature (including us), we are offering a short questionnaire for screening purposes upon arrival (including us), and we are taking more precautions than we are accustomed to in order to maintain a disinfected and sterile environment. Thankfully, our scope of business makes us very familiar with creating a place that is safer than most all businesses.

Also, we do not use the N-95 respirator masks (nor the recently approved “industrial masks”) that are short in supply and are mandated by the CDC for the care of COVID-19 infected hospital patients; we use others “procedural” masks approved for dental use and not for infectious disease associated use. Our Governor Greg Abbott wants all these special masks only used for severe emergencies and for COVID-19 infected patients only; so we are following that.

Dr. V has been studying this COVID-19 pandemic very closely in many ways. He has done extensive research with cited reputable sources (not like most of the memes and postings on Facebook). If you would like to see the solid research, we invite you to follow this link.

If you are not comfortable making or keeping an appointment, we totally understand. We will not pressure anyone to keep an appointment. At the same time, if you want or need an appointment, we are grateful for your trust. We value normalcy in our work lives as much as we are allowed to maintain; we will continue to take extra precautions for you all. With so many not allowed to go to work, this may be a convenient time to obtain care. We are open Monday through Thursday, from 7am to 4pm.
