Another Effort to Combat This Pandemic: Dr. Venincasa Receives Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine

We have been following this novel coronavirus pandemic since March 2020. Dr. Venincasa has done much research on it and has been taking steps to minimize the effects of this virus on his dental practice and on the community. For instance, on January 15, 2021, Dr. Venincasa was able to obtain his first Pfizer vaccine at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Plano, Texas, since he was an active participant in their volunteer department until the pandemic caused it to be inactive.

With the hours of research that he has done, Dr. Venincasa has posted updates on our Facebook community page and on other social media channels. We invite you to connect to our Facebook page since that is our primary outlet for posting news and updates.

In addition, much of that research has influenced the changes we have made within our dental office to prevent the transmission of this virus to others. These changes include:

>Taking temperature and questionnaires on patients and staff twice daily.

> Enhancing our supplies of N95, KN95, and Level 3 surgical masks.

> Increasing our supplies of disposable and washable surgical gowns, head coverings, and face shields.

> Posting signs inside and outside our office to remind patients and visitors of the mitigation procedures we expect and follow.

> Creating a circular flow of patient traffic within the office to prevent differing households from being in the same room.

> Offering hand sanitizer stations at the check-in and check-out counters.

> Wiping down and sanitizing public surfaces multiple times daily.

> Requiring all people to wear facemasks at all times until dental treatment is being performed.

> Minimizing the amount of time that patients and visitors are physically within our office, and more.

We value the trust of our patients immensely, as our “busyness” is about 75-100% of pre-pandemic levels. We truly have an environment that is as safe as one can be. We invite your making appointments and referring others to us. There are so many advantages to being a patient here.

We thank you for your interest in our one-dentist, patient-centered, family-owned, value-conscious, and quality-oriented dental practice, the most “liked” practice of this kind in the Dallas area, according to Facebook.
